Well guys this are us. If you would like
to become a contributing member to Sorority poker, don't hesitate to drop
us an email. We are here to
support the growing community of poker chicks and can always use the help.
We would prefer women players but the articles from guys will be considered.
(Note jb treats all of us like daughters, is a life member of the NRA
and grew up in the South.) Don't be "intimidated." We have one
English major and one Journalism major to help and edit anything you might
submit. Even if you aren't a great poker player yet. A good poker story,
are article from a beginner's perspective would be great.

I've been around poker since I was 12. Used to fetch drinks and empty ash
trays at dad's home game for tips. It was only natural I picked up poker.
Dad thinks I've been playing poker online for 1 year, and calls me the biggest
bonus whore on earth, (If he knew the truth.) I don't make deposits I make
withdrawals. If he really knew how much I win playing poker he would cut
my allowance. I love a wild Omaha Hi/Lo game. |

He
isn't everyone's dad, but he is mine. He grew up in the South but now calls
Las Vegas home, even though he lives in Japan. He claims to have learned
poker by lantern light. He wrote for 5th Street Magazine, and now is a poker
writer for several online poker sites. Loves 7 Stud, but tends to play Hold'em
because that is where the money is now. Refers to himself as Soldier, Teacher,
Poker player. Doesn't have a gambling bone in his body. |

I'm an second year Secondary Education Major, (English.) I was introduced
to online poker last year, 2005, by my roommate Jill. I play about ten hours
per week depending upon my class load. I prefer Seven Stud, or Hold'em,
but Jill keeps getting me in these crazy Omaha games. I don't win much,
but it does let me buy a new outfit or a new pair of shoes every couple
of months. |
